What you’ll be doing



Are you a qualified Actuary looking for a development focused, tight-knit and collaborative team in which to further learn and grow your career? Look no further…


In this role you’ll be assisting the Head of Reserving for IFRS 17 and other related areas. You’ll be the key point of contact for Finance teams, as well as supporting other Group Functions in respect of Actuarial related activity. This role will see you manage and assist with the design and implementation of process efficiencies relating to IFRS 17, SII and Reserving and related areas.

Some of the main tasks you will be focused on will be;

To maintain and develop the Group’s IFRS 17, reserving and technical provisions processes ensuring compliance with the Group’s Internal Policy Documents and any external regulatory requirements/standards.
To regularly review and challenge actuarial processes and raise suggestions/issues as appropriate with the Head of Reserving and managementValidation of results and consolidation of impacts across classes to assess impact at Group and Entity levels. Support the valuation of technical provisions on a Solvency II basis for each BSL syndicate.Support the IFRS17 implementation including the design and build of solutions as required.
