What you’ll be doing

You’ll really bolster your career in joining our small but growing and thriving team as an Outwards Reinsurance Technician and expanding your existing experience in the London market. You’ll deal with all aspects of the daily processing and management of outwards reinsurance contracts ensuring a coordinated approach throughout all activities the team undertake all the while building and maintaining strong relationships across the organisation.

A day in the life..

You’ll find yourself busy in the role and never without something to do as a varied and constantly changing position. An entirely non-exhaustive summary of the role includes responsibility for the accuracy and timely completion (within SLA’s) of key processes including; contract entry and peer review, calculating and processing reinsurance premiums and recoveries, brokerage, premium adjustments and profit commissions, reviewing gross claims movements and pro-rata accounts, issuing statements to brokers / reinsurers and recovering and advising sums due. You may on occasion be asked to represent the Outward Reinsurance Operations team at key meetings.
