What you’ll be doing

The Analytics Engineering team are a diverse collaboration of Data Governance, Python Engineering, and PowerBI Dashboard Reporting, self-hosted and self-maintained within our Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform. We work closely with our colleagues and other teams around the company to design and develop solutions to the challenges that Brit faces.


About You

You’ll be an Analytics Engineer with an enthusiastic interest in problem solving and a passion for data, analytics, and data pipelines.

Along with a relevant qualification and a good understanding of Python and SQL, it would also be desirable to have knowledge of Power BI, experience with cloud technologies as well as knowledge of common data science techniques (Regression, Clustering, Classification).

You’ll be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Actuarial department and the contribution of the Analytics Engineer role within it as well as being able to build effective working relationships within the team and initiate relationships with key contacts around the business.
