Your Mission

At boxxe we believe it is our people, ‘boxxers’, that make us great and we are now looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our growing people team as we continue an exciting and ambitious journey.

You will ensure the People Team is able to continue to support and enable our growing team of boxxers.

How you’ll fit in to the big picture

We’re currently in the middle of transforming our people processes and practices, with this role being crucial to its success.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about positive results through people, and who is looking for an opportunity to build the people capability to deliver the future growth goals of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with assigned teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation through an aligned People Plan.
  • Work closely with your business area and help it to implement the business strategy from a people perspective.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with key people in their business area, and the wider People Team.
  • Line management and development of junior team members
  • Use and provide data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across your business area(s).
  • Lead and implement practical measures to support employee engagement
  • Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on people practices such as career paths, restructures and succession planning.
  • Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.
  • Act as an advisor when required to managers and boxxers on policies and procedures.
  • Work with the wider People Team to ensure that recruitment and onboarding activities run smoothly in your relevant business area.
  • Lead and manage any complex ER issues.
  • Utilise your data analysis expertise to support strategic reward decisions
  • Provide advice on matters of pay, benefits, benchmarking and support gender pay reporting.
  • Implement talent attraction and retention campaigns and support development of the employment brand.
  • Ensuring that HiBob is a single version of truth for all people records and provides an accurate record of the organisation.

What experience we think you’ll need

  • Experience of HR Business Partnering ideally in the technology sector.
  • In depth experience of employee relations and business partnering.
  • Experience in one or more HR speciality such as resourcing, talent attraction, learning & development, reward. payroll and / or benefit administration.
  • Ideally (but not required) a working knowledge of HiBob People system or transferable knowledge from other HR systems.
  • Strong employment law knowledge and a commercial approach to applying it.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and flexibility within the team.
  • Experience in providing and using data to make people-based decisions.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (excel MSO Power Point) and attention to detail are essential.
  • MCIPD Level 7 highly desirable or appropriate experience.
