Job Title - Software Quality Senior Engineer

Location - Bangalore, India

You will: - Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the Software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with other quality engineers including design and test reviews. - Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria, be a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes. - Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including manual and automated functional and integration tests and the setup of production-like environments. Every Boomi team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements - 5 to 7 Years of overall experience. - Design, develop, execute & maintain automated test cases and test scripts. - Develop automated tests using JAVA & TestNG. Design efficient & reusable scripts in Selenium to be used across automated tests. - Develop automated tests using ReST API frameworks such as RestAssured, Jersey, ReadyAPI, etc. Design efficient & reusable scripts to be used across automated tests. - Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver & Grid. - Hands-on experience in testing Web Services/ API's (REST, SOAP, and WSDL) & respective automation. - Review test cases and procedures to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements. - Execute testing as required & according to test plan and project goals. Communicate testing progress and results in a timely and accurate manner. - Review and continually improve quality assurance practices, including creation and update of documentation related to quality assurance processes and guidelines. - Provide impact analysis and regression testing of software changes. - Knowledge in Defect Lifecycle and Defect Management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, etc. Desirable Requirements - Background in Computer Science with good expertise of OOPS concepts & programming in Java. - Experience with IDE such as IntelliJ/Eclipse & source control systems & continuous integration tools such as GIT, bitbucket, etc. - Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems. - Familiarity with SQL queries, relational database systems, and ORM tools like Hibernate. - Familiarity using AWS technologies and products.
