Join us as a Software Engineer 1 on our Software Engineering team in Bengaluru to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer 1, you will be responsible for implementing various features that incorporate scalable design and programming best practices. You will be responsible for making sure the developed feature meets Business goals and Quality expectations.

You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on testing new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.

You will:

• Design & implement tactical enhancements for Boomi Platform .

• Continuously enable oneself on new feature enhancements.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams & QA to deliver high-quality deliverables.

• Perform code, design, and unit test reviews.

• Investigate defects to identify the root cause and provide potential solution.

• Write JUnit Tests.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years hands on experience on Core Java, backend development and JUnit tests.

• Troubleshooting - Excellent debugging skills.

• Good understanding of Programming Principles and Practices.

• Must be a quick learner and should keep in pace with new technologies.

• Good communication skills (Verbal & Written).

Desired Skills:

• Experience in OOAD, Design Patterns, SOLID Java Principles including Threads.

• Working with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes etc.

• Knowledge about AWS Cloud.

• Experience in debugging complex defects.

• Experience building Java applications & writing JUnit Tests.

• Exposure to Integration Platforms for example Mulesoft, Oracle Integration etc.

• Exposure to multiple Databases for example, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, etc.

Education:

Bachelor/Masters in any branch of Engineering or equivalent technical field
