How You’ll Make An Impact

As the Chief of Staff to the SVP and GM of AI & Platform, you will be the primary engine driving the operational excellence and strategic reach of our most critical business unit. This isn’t a back-office administrative role; it is a high-visibility, high-impact position designed to amplify the GM’s effectiveness and execute the AI vision across the company.

You will act as a force multiplier, moving between high-level strategic planning and "in the trenches" execution. Whether you are defining a new Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, deep-diving into product initiatives, or ghost-writing executive keynotes, you are the glue that holds the organization together.

What You’ll Do

  • Executive Amplification: Serve as a strategic partner to the GM, ensuring their time is focused on the highest-priority items. You will manage the leadership "rhythm of the business" (staff meetings, quarterly business reviews, and offsites)
  • End-to-End Strategic Initiatives: Lead mission-critical initiatives that don’t have a natural home. This includes everything from evaluating new GTM motions to streamlining cross-functional product development workflows
  • Executive Communications & Assets: Create high-stakes, "board-ready" content. You will produce customer-facing presentations, executive briefing docs, and internal memos that articulate the AI & Platform narrative
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Influence without authority. You will work across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment on key milestones and unblock bottlenecks
  • Strategic Ghost-Writing: Synthesize complex technical and business concepts into clear, compelling narratives for the GM’s internal and external engagements

Who You Are

  • The Consultant’s Toolkit: You have 3–5 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (or a high-growth tech strategy role). You know how to structure and break down complex problems
  • Self-Starter Mentality: You don't wait for a playbook; you write it. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive when given a goal and a blank sheet of paper
  • Influence Expert: You can navigate a complex matrix organization, building credibility with across functions to drive results without having a direct reporting line
  • Product-Curious: While you don't need to be a developer, you have a deep interest in the AI landscape and a continuous learning attitude
  • Extreme Ownership: You take pride in the "last mile" of execution. From the first brainstorm to the final delivery, you own the outcome

The Experience You Bring

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in management consulting or corporate strategy
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with, influence, and present to C-suite and executive-level leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify the complex
  • Strong analytical skills and visual storytelling skills
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Ability to travel ~20%

Compensation and Benefits

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $160K - $200K CAD annually + applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
