Your next exciting job opportunity –
BMT is searching for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our People Team as blended Talent Acquisition / People Generalist. This role offers a unique blend of working on both regional and global people projects and initiatives, coupled with a strong emphasis on supporting our talent acquisition efforts. As a member of the APAC team, you will report directly to the Head of People APAC and collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager APAC to shape our talent strategy and enhance employee engagement within the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring and talent acquisition manager to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the hiring process.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Support performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, performance feedback, and improvement plans.
- Assist in developing and implementing performance management programs to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with current laws and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards.
- Collaborate with managers to create career development plans for employees, fostering professional growth opportunities.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Participate in special people projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement surveys, or policy reviews.
Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, or HR generalist complemented by a keen interest in broader people initiatives.
- Proficient knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the APAC region.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with ATS HRIS systems.
