To continue our success, an opportunity is now available in Brisbane for an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer looking to advance your career within a passionate, multi-disciplinary team of coastal and marine experts. Become part of our global team and exchange knowledge between our network of technical experts whilst working on some unique and exciting projects.

In this role you will be able to:

• Work as part of a cohesive team to successfully deliver various civil and structural engineering services to a wide range of clients, including government and private sectors, such as:
• Planning and design of shoreline protection structures (e.g., rock revetment, groyne)
• Planning and design of small- to medium-scale recreational boating facilities (including waterside and landside elements)
• Planning and design of beach nourishment
• Design support for large-scale marine and coastal infrastructure for the ports, resources, and renewable energy sectors
• Manage the successful delivery of various marine and coastal engineering projects either individually or as part of a project delivery team, depending on complexity.
• Preparation of proposals, fee estimates and schedules for consulting projects
• Liaise with clients, potential and current, for the purposes of service delivery, networking, and business development.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and supervision for junior engineers and scientists.

Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experienced in the preparation of proposals, fee estimates and schedules.
• Experienced in the whole life project life cycle from investigative studies, conceptual design development, detailed design to construction phase services.
• A proven track record of managing projects and working with as part of a team.
• Experience working within a consulting environment.
• Developed project management skills coupled with commercial acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in coastal or marine structure design or geotechnical engineering
• Experience working within the ports, resources, or renewable energy sectors.
• Understanding of coastal processes and coastal hazards
