Security Vetting Administrator

About the role

BMT is looking for a Security Vetting Administrator to assist the Company Security Controller to facilitate compliance with internal and external requirements relating to Information Security.

You will carry out the security vetting for staff and/or contractors including BPSS clearance, SC and DV application and Met Police Clearances

You will maintain records for all types of security clearance, including bespoke clearances such as ITAR, EAR, NNPPI, PSA, etc and maintain the Vetting Database, ensuring it is accurate and up to date

Your role will include updating and maintaining the Security SharePoint pages, administration of the new starters process for Security and management of external visitors, including checking and recording visitor security clearance details, providing the appropriate passes and access when on site etc

This role is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in our Bath offices to support secure working.

About you

You will show initiative and proactivity to drive business and system improvement and have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

You must have excellent attention to detail with strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

If you do have knowledge and understanding of vetting requirements in the UK, ISO 27001 or a DISA qualification that would be great, however full training will be given to the successful candidate.
