Reception & Business Support Assistant
About the role
As a Receptionist & Business Support Assistant, you will be the primary point of contact for our visitors and colleagues ensuring the warmest of welcomes, with a professional and friendly approach for the best experience.
Working as part of the wider Business Support Team your primary role will be to provide reception services that are professional and welcoming. You will deliver excellent customer service to our visitors and employees and have responsibility for managing stationery, catering stock and postal services. You’ll also assist the wider team in maintaining and improving the offices to be safe, comfortable, and productive workspaces.
The role will also include other support functions including answering switchboard, management of meeting room bookings and acting as First Aider and Fire Warden (training will be provided)
This is a full time role based at the BMT Offices in Victoria, London
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to enjoy working in a front-line role, have excellent customer service and strong communication skills. You will also need to be able to work flexibly across multiple tasks by being highly organised and able to prioritise your tasks while coping with interruptions.
You’ll need a good grasp of standard Microsoft office packages and general computer literacy to be able to use the visitor management and helpdesk systems and accurately record information.
While mainly desk based you may need to be hands on to proactively solve issues when needed.
This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
