Project Controller

About the role

Project Controllers are responsible for maintaining an overview of allocated Projects, ensuring business processes and procedures are followed, generating accurate management information as required and providing essential services to Bid Managers and Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of allocated Projects.

Reporting to the Regional Head of PMO, you will provide support to Bid Managers and Project Managers in the execution of customer-facing projects. The service they provide ensures that Bids and Projects are properly structured and executed in compliance with BMT’s Standards and Processes and meet the delivery expectation of all stakeholders.

You will be involved in all aspects of project delivery including:

· Pre-Contract Support

· Contract Award and Mobilisation Support

· Project Delivery Phase Support

· Project Close-Out Support

This role is for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

In terms of location, our office is in Bath and we are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Please note that travel to customer sites or to attend meetings may be required.

About you

We are looking for a new team member who is solution focused, with a natural preference for working in a logical and pragmatic manner, and an ability to work in a financially focused role.

You will be:

· Flexible and adaptable with a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business.

· An effective communicator, able to utilise different methods of communication appropriately to engage with stakeholders.

· A confident individual who can perform effectively either as part of a team or when working independently with support from colleagues.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Eligible to hold UK security at SC level
