About the role

BMT is looking for Training Consultants with relevant and demonstrable experience to join our growing Management Consultancy

BMT’s Training Consultancy Services delivers people focussed solutions that ultimately result in long-term performance enhancement. We work with our clients to develop tailored approaches for evaluating, identifying, and rectifying the root causes of inadequate learning and help them to fulfil organisational ambitions with their workforce at the core. We provide management consultancy services to our customers in a wide variety of projects and programmes, including the implementation of change management and behavioural change using recognised systems approaches to analyse training requirements and design and deliver optimised leading edge training solutions.

We utilise proactive consultative practices and operate in fast paced environments. This recruitment campaign is looking for positive and hardworking new members to join our engaged and creative team to support our burgeoning requirement for training analysis.

The role will involve working with our clients to identify and align the training needs of their workforce by conducting an in-depth Training Needs Analysis (TNA), to assess analyse learning needs, identify knowledge/skill gaps, determine the types of training for their workforce to thrive or improve job performance.

We have offices in Bath, London, Plymouth and Weymouth although we heavily rely upon a hybrid working model, dependent upon the client requirement. Please note that travel to customer sites or to attend meetings will be required. This role is available full time, other flexible employment options may be considered.

About you

You will have experience in training analysis, either independently or as part of a team; up to and including delivery of client facing Training Needs Analysis (TNA) reports.

Ideally you will hold a formal training qualification or have experience in a training, learning or education environment either through professional experience or voluntary commitments.

You should have a positive and pro-active mindset with a desire to tackle problems with enthusiasm continue to develop your knowledge and be able to work independently to provide sound analysis and guidance for training and change management related consultancy services to clients, with support from your consulting colleagues and project managers.

You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and be Highly adept in written communication and report writing for customer delivery.

You understand the importance of soft skills within Management Consultancy and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

You will be enthusiastic about helping customers to realise the benefits of enabling training, learning or effective change management across their teams and can interact with stakeholders across multiple sectors, using strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Please note, successful candidates must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance at SC level.

We work with clients throughout the UK, but at this time we are predominantly looking for applicants based in the south of England. Travel further afield may be required as part of the role.
