Intermediate or Senior Systems Engineer - Requirements Management

What is the role?

BMT Canada is recruiting for an Intermediate or Senior Systems Engineer with experience in Requirements Management to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide Requirements Management support to BMT projects and clients by:

• Working with BMT’s engineering teams to support the delivery of requirements and Systems Engineering services
• Supporting the Systems Engineering team with requirements engineering activities such as elicitation, definition, specification, analysis, verification, and validation
• Managing complex DOORS databases used for:
  • Development and configuration management of Statement of Work (SOW) requirements
  • Reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Delivery of Requirements to commercial and government customers.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible team members, who possess the following knowledge, experience, and skills:

• A university degree or college diploma in an Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field
• 5-10 years of Requirements Management experience
• Experience with requirements engineering databases and scripting (such as DOORS)
• Ability to write basic computer programs/scripts
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
