Role description

As a Project Management & Control Undergraduate, you will learn and apply project management and project controls principles across the project lifecycle. You will support the development and maintenance of Performance Measurement Baselines, risk and opportunity management, and change control processes, ensuring appropriate governance and budget alignment. The role includes assisting with the collection and analysis of cost and performance data, contributing to project reporting, and supporting stakeholder engagement through regular project reviews and meetings. This provides a strong foundation in delivering effective project outcomes within a complex business environment.

Core duties

• Monitor and track project spend against spend profiles, identifying and working with the Project Teams to address deviations promptly
• Support and contribute to the Baseline Change Control process
• Support the development of project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements for the successful development and delivery of the project. Requiring stakeholder engagement and resilience.
• Support the Project Manager in the delivery of the project.
• Support the development of detail and summary schedules for project monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinating projects to ensure risks are maintained and kept up to date. Supporting risk reviews and presenting risk status in monthly reviews

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: STEM or Business, Finance, Legal, Project Management or IT related.
