Job Title: Undergraduate Submarines Electrical Power Engineer

Location: Barrow (Cumbria)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £24,300

What you’ll be doing:
You could be involved in designing, developing and modelling complex systems, components and products, as well as supporting build, test, commissioning and in service operation, including but not limited to the following areas:
• Power System Architecture; Protection and Co-ordination; Earth Fault Monitoring; Modelling (Simulation and Analysis) and Operation
• Power Equipment (active, generation, passive)
• Power Generation and Distribution – both AC & DC
• Energy Storage
• Power Electronics

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
