The Pipe Welding Team plays a vital role in delivering both nuclear and non-nuclear pipework across Site, Facilities, and Submarine Programmes – work that directly underpins the integrity and performance of world-class vessels. Working closely with Team Leaders and Operational Leaders, this role offers real visibility and influence across a team of around 90 professionals at varying levels and grades. With core links into Quality, SHE, Operations, HR, and Learning & Development, you’ll sit at the centre of coordination and communication, helping ensure standards, compliance, and capability are consistently achieved.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
