About the OPPORTUNITY

As a Systems Administrator, you will be a key technical resource within Infrastructure Operations – Enterprise Services. Your day-to-day will involve keeping infrastructure healthy and drama-free: maintaining and updating custom images, applying patches, performing firmware updates, managing an on-prem domain and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Providing on premise infrastructure requirements to our customer and business projects.

This position can be based out of our Adelaide or Melbourne office with flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work environment on offer.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Administer Linux systems (RHEL/OEL/Ubuntu)
  • Manage and troubleshoot On-Prem Linux fleet with an infrastructure management solution such as Satellite or other like systems
  • Automate everything: PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform
  • Contribute to security assessments and implement necessary security measures as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • RHEL server builds for ongoing business & project requirements primarily utilising the company’s virtualisation platforms
  • Work within a Support focused team stream
  • Administer monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Dynatrace
  • Administer similar systems in classified & air gapped networks
  • Experience in Oracle Enterprise Linux, Exadata platforms, OLVMOracle KVM environments is an advantage
  • Work in a dynamic, multi faceted team with an opportunity to further administercontribute to Windows based & database (SQLOracle) systems

ABOUT YOU:

You’re a Systems Administrator at heart — someone who knows their way around Linux technologies. You understand the importance of patching, image management, and firmware TLC, and you get satisfaction from knowing the systems you support are rock solid.

You bring a mix of hands-on skills and problem-solving smarts, plus some automation magic with PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. You’re comfortable working across teams, sharing knowledge, and rolling up your sleeves for BAU support.

Most importantly, you care about keeping infrastructure secure, stable, and future-ready. If you don’t tick every box but you’re excited about the role, we’d still love to hear from you.
