Job Description:

As a Support Equipment Field Service Representative, you will provide technical, logistics, and data support to customers and stakeholders. Working closely with engineering teams, site leads, and international partners, you will coordinate the resolution of equipment issues, support calibration and repair activities, facilitate hardware deliveries, and provide technical guidance and training to operators and engineers.

The role also includes supporting course development and delivery, ensuring effective communication across teams, and helping maintain the operational readiness of critical F-35 support equipment.

Core duties:

  • Being the primary point of contact for the UK F-35 SE technical, data and logistics issues and coordinating with stakeholders, Engineering team, SE leadership and QECC’s to resolve SE issues
  • Facilitating up-line reporting of SE status to provide a global and UK specific overview
  • Providing familiarisation training to operators and support ITC SE course delivery and development
  • Supporting global movement of UK assets

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working with Aircraft Ground support equipment
  • Strong communication skills and a background of supporting stakeholders with technical queries at all levels
  • Able to work independently

Support Equipment Team within Operations in UK F-35:

The Support Equipment Field Service Representatives (SE FSR) are the primary point of contact for all F-35 SE technical issues, data and logistics support for the UK Lightning Force. The FSR will work closely with the UK Lightning Delivery Team (LDT), SE Controlling Authority (SECA) and the F-35 SE Engineering Authority in identifying and scheduling equipment that is delivered to UK custody to ensure UK policies and regulations are met and that the SE is safe and ready to use to meet the commitments of the force.
