Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Salary: Up to £48,500 (DOE)

Job Description:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will work as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, stepping in where needed and applying your expertise to help ensure the successful delivery of cutting‑edge equipment. You will partner closely with both Software and Hardware Engineers to verify that delivered solutions meet customer requirements and comply with relevant standards, ultimately supporting those who are responsible for keeping us safe.
In this role, you will liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders at all levels to maintain product integrity throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will play a key part in driving continuous improvement, enhancing processes, and ensuring that quality is embedded from initial concept through to final delivery.
Core duties:
- To work with the Projects by planning and delivering the QA activities that will ensure efficient and effective delivery of products that meet customer requirements
- Provide QA support to projects and functions
- Conduct and support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits
- Support the management of Non-conformances and corrections/corrective actions for actions raised
- Contribute to and support of Quality investigations
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ EN9100 standards and associated Quality tools and techniques
- HNC/HND or degree qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Quality professional, Internal Auditor (essential) Lead Auditor (preferable) status or equivalent experience
