Join a small, high-impact Project Management Office supporting the Qatar Hawk programme, where you’ll play a key role in helping train the next generation of fast jet pilots. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll provide project controls oversight for the maintenance and availability of Hawk training aircraft, gaining full end-to-end exposure to aircraft delivery and support. The role involves managing and interpreting project control data, including risk and opportunity management, resource planning, change control, and earned value management. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the site, offering excellent visibility and the opportunity to influence programme performance within a dynamic aviation environment.

Core duties:

  • Establishing and managing the project schedules
  • Tracking spend and controlling project costs
  • Implementing and utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
  • Supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities
  • Analysing project information to enable early identification of problems and then implementing mitigation actions
  • Driving ownership and managing change of the work scope tasks throughout the project team

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in creating and maintaining project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project (MSP), Open Plan, or Primavera P6

  • Demonstrable experience in risk, opportunity, and change management within a project environment

The Project Management Office Team:

You’ll be joining the Project Management Office supporting the Qatar Hawk programme, a small and collaborative team at the heart of aircraft delivery and support. The team works closely with a wide range of stakeholders across engineering, maintenance and operations, offering exceptional visibility across the full lifecycle of the Hawk aircraft. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end delivery, working directly with those responsible for the aircraft while playing a key part in maintaining performance and supporting pilot training capability.
