Senior Project Controller
Job Description
Job Title: Senior Project Controller
Location: Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £42,000 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain the project performance measurement baseline and control change
- Producing reports and performing analysis, including Earned Value, to support the weekly and monthly drum beats
- Maintaining risk registers and performing quantitative risk analysis
- Supporting the Project with external assessments such as Phase Reviews or Integrated Baseline Reviews
- Working with the Capability team on Continuous Improvement initiatives
Your skills and experiences:
- Analytical mind set and advanced Excel skills
- Good knowledge of ERP systems including SAP
- Risk management & Assessment using tools like Predict!, ARM or Primavera Risk Analyser
- APM PMQ qualified (desirable)
- Scheduling Experience (desirable)

The team:
The successful candidate will be joining the Project Controls team that supports all the Ship Repair projects, both Upkeep and Fleet Time Engineering, in Warship Support. It is a supportive team where we share knowledge and work together to problem solve, in order to serve the business and the projects we support. For the right candidate, this will be an excellent opportunity to develop your Project Control skill set further towards becoming an SME or Lead Project Controller.
