We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator – Operations to work with our Head of Operations Management along with supporting the wider team. In this role, you will be a strategic partner who is responsible for providing high level, efficient and professional support to ensure the smooth functioning of organisational operations.
This role is open to our 9-day fortnight. This opportunity is available at our Osborne Shipyard Office.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of task-based outcomes on behalf of Operations Management, providing direct support to the Head of Operations Management and Manufacturing Teams
- Provide coordination support across Operations Management including key meetings, reviews and events
- Drafting and sending communications with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Head of Operations Management
- Project action tracking and completion monitoring across key Operations activities
- Project governance and delivery review documentation compilation and dissemination on behalf of Operations Management for a range of meetings
- Configuration control of Operations documentation in project toolsets such as Sharepoint, Windchill and JIRA
- Participation in Operations delivery meetings, collating minutes, tracking actions and dissemination of information to stakeholders
- Compilation and extraction of business information from company toolsets including P6 (Scheduling Tool), AVEVA, JIRA, Co-Console, Windchill and CMPIC
- Extracting and presenting key project information such as: Schedule Information, Jobcard information, Earned Value/Cost & Schedule reports and Risk, Issue & Opportunity information
- Regular engagement with Operations Management for emerging issues or deconfliction required
- Coordination with Operations support teams for on-site requirements across manufacturing facilities and key events
- Sharing of LfE/training of other staff in Shipbuilding toolsets
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
About YOU
You’ll have:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Maritime Defence experience desirable)
- Ability to contribute to a team environment, providing support to meet deliverables and adding value in a collaborative environment
- Motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills to support managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment under broad direction
- Adept at building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organisational and problem-solving skills
- Proactive thinking, and flexible with a lean-in approach
- Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite, SharePoint, P6 (Scheduling Tool), AVEVA, JIRA, Co-Console, Windchill and CMPIC
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Australian Government Security Clearance
