Missile Maintenance Technician 1

Location: TAIF KFDAB

Working hours: full time

Responsibilities:

The efficient day to day running of the Munitions Squadron activities, including;-

· Maintaining good work practice and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders and Manuals in all aspects of the Missile and Munitions Maintenance Squadron.

· Prepare items for calibration within his work area.

· Carry out OJT Training duties with SN & RSAF Trainees.

· Supervise and coordinate all Missile Section activities to a high level of quality

· Ensure compliance with tool control in the Missile Maintenance sections.

· Support the RSAF Aircraft Squadrons with timely and accurate delivery of Missiles and associated equipment.

· Monitor and demand all supply issues affecting the Missile Maintenance sections.

· Write reports, and providing up to date briefings and information to all concerned parties on daily progress and any issues affecting his sphere of work.

Job Requirements:

The Missile Maintenance Technician Supervisor should meet the following criteria

  • Will be able to demonstrate experience in the Missile Maintenance field including, but not limited to, all current RSAF Missiles including Skyflash, Alarm, Sea Eagle, AIM 9, AIM X and Aim 7
  • Must be trained and experienced in Missiles through a civilian or military school of technical training,
  • Must have a sound understanding of the RSAF Manuals, Technical Orders and Air Publications applicable to his work area, especially the RSAFI 7606-4 Munitions Safety manual and associated specialist Missile Manuals
  • Must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to all aspecxts of the Missile field.
  • Must have and be able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills.
  • Be able to work in close harmony in a mixed EE/SN workforce
  • Must be able to work on his own initiative to resolve complex technical issues and have Supervisory experience.
  • Must be computer literate with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must hold a current driving licence.
  • Must be able to effectively carry out OJT training duties with RSAF and SN trainees
  • Will be able to demonstrate experience in the Aircraft Missile Field
  • Must be trained in Missiles at a civilian or military school of technical training, and Ideally have 5 years experience working in a RSAF Munitions Area preferably with supervisory experience.
  • Must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to Missile Maintenance and Training issues
