Job title: Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader

Location: Warton and Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: £54,793+ dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing build line support (BLS) and maintaining the engineering work instructions to ensure the smooth running of all our operational activities
• Embodying change within the SAP tool set (or equivalent engineering toolset) to ensure our work instructions are configuration controlled and topical at all times
• Supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives within the business
• Supporting Manufacturing Engineering management team to identify and exploit external industry best practice
• Reviewing compliance returns from the programmes and carry out process confirmations
• Supporting any audits held within the line of business

Your skills and experiences:

• Relevant team leadership experience within a Manufacturing Engineering role
• Engineering Toolset knowledge, CATIA V5, PLM (or equivalent Product Data Manager) SAP CAMS or SFM (Shop Floor Manager)
• Manufacturing Process knowledge and experience of one or more Assembly, Composites, Fabrications, and Machining
• HNC qualified or equivalent qualification/experience in Manufacturing Engineering

The Manufacturing Engineering Team:

As a part of our team, you will be working across a wide range of platforms such as the F35, Typhoon, Hawk and Tempest and forge the opportunity to shape our future programs. All the roles involve providing a high standard of technical support and production expertise as well as the development of near term and emerging technologies. You will be involved in all phases of the life cycle of our projects, from new business, design through development, manufacturing, and in-service support.
