About the OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunityfor an Electronics Technician to play a keyrolein a high-impact program within our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team, based onsite at our facility based in Oakey, Queensland. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on ATC navigation and comms systems.
• Use Defence maintenance systems to log and manage tasks.
• Respond to operational needs and controller staff.
• Work independently to diagnose faults, certify maintenance, and support system integration.
• Complete OEM training (including travel) to support system readiness.
• Comply with internal reporting requirements.

About YOU

• Minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics
• Must have experience in a relevant technical industry
• Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable
• Previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment
• Negative Vetting Level1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain

• Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
