Location: Warton / Samlesbury (Lancashire) We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description

As a Graduate Solutions Architect you will support the design and delivery of technology solutions by translating business requirements into secure, scalable and sustainable architectures that align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. You will provide guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring quality, compliance and effective governance. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across cross-functional initiatives, helping to evaluate architectural options, influence decisions and achieve successful outcomes. Work closely with architects, engineers, project teams, customers and suppliers to support risk management, resolve complex issues and deliver business value. Contribute to decision-making that shapes solution direction, project success and the development of long-term technology capabilities.

Core duties

• Supporting the definition of solution architectures and design for projects to meet business and system requirements, within the project constraints of cost and timescale, and the agreed architectural and technical framework
• Capturing and defining the as-is and to-be application, data and technology architectures
• Reviewing overall functional and technical designs against requirements
• Liaising with internal and external IM&T suppliers and product teams
• Working effectively with the Project Managers to support the development of the project plan, estimates and schedules

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering & Computer Science.
