Location: New Malden. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for producing software architectures and designs based on the requirements of each ship, implementing solutions using a variety of programming languages and development tools. The role involves designing and developing software tests to demonstrate functionality, robustness, and performance, as well as carrying out software testing and integration with target hardware. You will also support lifecycle and product maturity activities, including participation in design reviews, helping to ensure that software solutions meet both technical requirements and operational objectives throughout their development.
The Naval Ships Team
We design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: in any STEM subject.
