Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description

As a Quality Engineer, you will support the function in undertaking a broad range of tasks that allow you to develop knowledge of the business, lifecycle phases, supply chain, product and customers, as well as an understanding of the multi-disciplinary inputs. Within the role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders and support the management of quality issues through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action and verification with the customer, internally, or within the supply chain. You will also contribute to activities that help maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement across the business.

Core duties

• Quality assurance and control activities.
• Managing and performing internal product, process and system audits.
• Supporting third party, customer, supplier and regulatory approval visits.
• Performing first article verifications and factory acceptance tests relating to new and updated equipment.
• Providing product certification and release documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
