Location: Glascoed (Clwyd). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of small projects to agreed cost, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction. You will manage project execution, monitor performance against milestones and work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other functions to define scope, track progress and resolve challenges. The role involves managing risks and opportunities, leading problem-solving activities, maintaining effective customer and supplier relationships, and providing clear project reporting. You will ensure compliance with the operational framework and life cycle management mandates, support effective stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the development of proposals for future projects.

Core duties

• Collaborate with Functions such as Commercial & Procurement, Engineering & Finance and the wider Munitions project management delivery teams.
• Communicate with customers and senior team-members.
• Monitor and report project and programme performance.
• Leading problem-solving sessions and manage risks and opportunities.
• Ensure work packages / tasks are delivered within and adhere to set project governance mandates.
• You will have strong team working skills and the drive to achieve results.

The Land Team

Equipping the British Armed Forces and international customers with a range of munitions products, from small arms ammunition through to heavy artillery, tank ammunition, warheads, and payloads with projects including the Challenger 3 Battle Tank.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Business Studies or Project Management or Engineering.
