Job title: Graduate Air Procurement
Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description
As part of the Procurement function, you will support the delivery of procurement activities that enable the business to achieve its objectives while developing your commercial and supply chain knowledge. You will gain experience working within a collaborative environment, contributing to procurement projects and developing an understanding of how effective procurement supports business performance, operational success, and value creation across the organisation.
Core duties
- Support the management of supplier relationships, maintaining regular communication with vendors, monitoring performance, helping to resolve supply or service issues, and proactively managing supplier risks.
- Conduct the timely placement of purchase orders, process procurement requests, and maintain accurate purchasing records in line with company policies and financial controls.
- Conduct market analysis and supplier research to identify potential vendors, compare costs, assess risks, and support sourcing activities that deliver value for money.
- Assist with supplier negotiations by gathering data, preparing cost analyses, supporting contract activities, and updating multiple enterprise systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Track supplier performance, analyse procurement and spend data, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and produce reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating across teams to understand business requirements, provide procurement support, and deliver a high standard of customer and supplier service.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: All subjects considered.
