Job title: Graduate Maritime Services Mechanical Engineer
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base, (Hampshire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description
You will support the design and development of Mechanical Systems, including thermal, fluid and high-pressure air systems, while contributing to the assessment of engineering solutions through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The role involves assisting with failure investigations and fault analysis, including the testing and validation of rectification solutions, as well as supporting design solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to in-service support. You will also contribute to the installation of design solutions across the product portfolio, produce technical documentation in accordance with company guidelines, and develop and maintain a strong understanding of Maritime Services mechanical engineering processes.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects Mechanical, Aerospace & Automotive or other relevant STEM subject.
