Job title: Graduate Air Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description
Within the Manufacturing Engineering function, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring products can be manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Working across a range of programmes, you will contribute to the development of manufacturing capabilities, support the introduction of new products and technologies, and help optimise production performance. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance manufacturing effectiveness, and support the successful delivery of products throughout the production lifecycle.
Core duties
- Support aircraft manufacturing and assembly by developing and improving production processes, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all activities comply with aerospace regulatory, airworthiness, safety, and quality requirements.
- Investigate manufacturing issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, production, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver manufacturable solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects using Lean principles to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Support the development and validation of tooling, equipment, and production methods, while analysing performance data and reporting improvement opportunities.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Manufacturing Systems / Technology Engineering Management, Manufacturing Management / Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (Manufacturing bias), Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing bias).
