FCAS Security Senior Associate – Operational, Physical and Personnel.

Job Description

Job title: Operational Security Administrator

Location: Warton

Salary: £41,361+ dependant on experience

What you’ll be doing:

· Being accountable for Physical and Personnel access to secure FCAS facilities at Warton, all the people, equipment and data in them in accordance with all applicable Government, customer contractual and business requirements

· Controlling and Protecting Classified material and hardware. Maintaining accurate records for receipt, transfer, loan, destruction and mustering of classified material

· Providing Security reminder briefings for those accessing the facility

· Providing support for Local Visits, contractor & maintenance visits to the secure facilities

· Assuring the integrity of BAE employees working in the assigned business area by maintaining personnel security and access control processes and procedures. Including security front of house duties

· Providing security advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders and make recommendations to improve security solutions for the work stream.

· Maintaining effective relationships and coordinating with key local functions and business representatives

· Supporting the security culture by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values

· Required to be on call if desired

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

· Proficient in Microsoft 365 package – Word, PowerPoint, Excel

· Fantastic planning and organisational skills

· Experience within an administrative role dealing with classified information

Desirable:

· Working in or around security and assurance

FCAS Physical and Personnel Security Team:

Reporting to the FCAS Secure Facility Lead and working under the guidance of the Senior Administrator, you’ll support key operational, physical, and personnel security activities. Your work will help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, while also protecting the interests of our business, shareholders, and customers.
