About the OPPORTUNITY –
We have a great opportunity for a Engineering Officer to join part of our Maritime Sustainment business. This role will ideally be based out of Osborne, SA however, is open to other locations for the right candidate.
You will be reporting to the Liaison Engineering Team Lead.
Working as the Engineering Officer, you will be supporting a team to undertake engineering administrative tasks. This role will see you utilise engineering toolsets such as Windchill, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Aveva, Oracle and IBM Maximo to name a few. It will be critical that you have strong foundational knowledge of the engineering domain to be successful in this role.
This role will see you:
- Accountable and responsible for engineering support to the broader team from an administrative perspective
- Inputting relevant information and data into various engineering toolsets
- Act as an engineering liaison between Engineering teams
- Self-development, growing your knowledge of Production, MRP, Defence requirements, BAE Systems processes & procedures and regulatory requirements

About YOU
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience working in an engineering domain
- Diploma or Degree level qualifications in Engineering would be ideal however, not mandatory
- The ability to input engineering information into various toolsets
- Strong communication skills: both written and verbal to liaise with various stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to progressing all assigned tasks
- Demonstrated good problem-solving skills
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
