Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Assembler to join our team based at Edinburgh Parks, SA, working an afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electronic assemblies, boards and wiring looms within a fast-paced defence production environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, maintain high quality standards, and collaborate with the team to deliver reliable electronic components.

Core Duties:

  • Assembly of complex electronic components, PCBs and wiring looms to defence standards
  • Hand solder components with precision Maintain safety, quality, and tool care in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
  • Comply with BAE Systems Safety, Health and Environment procedures with the requirements of the BAE Systems’ Quality systems as they relate to respective areas of activity

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in complex electronic assembly, Wiring looms and inspection (preferred but not essential)
  • Certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC 7711/7721 (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a defence manufacturing environment
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations
