Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £54,000

What you’ll be doing

• Ensuring the sufficient cyber security arrangements within the service provision:
• Leading aspects of risk management across Cyber and the wider business
• Supporting with investigations from a Cyber security aspect and ensuring of timely and efficient resolutions
• Managing, translating and disseminating threat intelligence
• Providing guidance and supporting with development for Early Careers placements within the team
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Your skills and experiences

Essential:

• Prior experience gained within any of the following: Cyber Security, Information Security or Information Technology
• Stakeholder Management experiences and the ability to influence
• Prior team leadership/guidance/mentoring experience will be required

Desirable:

• Qualifications gained such as CISSP / CISM
• Experience of using Atlassian suite/JIRA

The Cyber Security Operations team

This is a truly exciting time to join our team where every day brings something new, with the chance to help to be responsible for ensuring and delivering cyber security within the business from an operational security perspective. The team support all Submarine Programmes; therefore, you will gain great exposure across the organisation including the opportunity to work closely with our senior stakeholders. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
