Job Title: Advanced Welder Apprentice (Weapon Systems UK)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Starting from £14,527 – £23,493 per annum dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Welding Apprentice you will be involved in using skilled techniques to make high strength joints, you will use two or more welding processes to join several different metals. You will be required to meet the level of quality and inspection required in safety critical work. The role may include;
- Using skilled techniques to make high strength joints on the main structures of our products
- Developing key competencies to a high level of quality, the work you carry out in your role is inspection required, as it is safety critical work
- May include a range of tasks from pipe welding, gas tungsten arc welding, structural welding and flux core arc welding; these types of finishes are subjected to rigorous inspection and testing

Qualification requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 9-3 / A*-E (or equivalent) which must include Maths & English
