Events & Community Executive

Employment type:  Full time

Job Description

Our technology helps some of the world’s best-known theme parks, zoos and resorts — such as Alton Towers, Chester Zoo and Butlin’s — to deliver a seamless guest experience and better business outcomes. We're already serving millions of guests at world-class attractions each year and have ambitious growth plans.Your Role

Our events and community manager is an exciting, varied role, where you’ll take responsibility for identifying, organising and managing new business and community events across the globe. This includes a mix of in-person and virtual sales events, as well as community events for customers.

Like in most startups, you may be asked to lend a hand in other areas of marketing from time to time. You don't have to be an expert, but a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges will help you get off to a flying start.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the event calendar, project timelines, and individual event budgets.
  • Plan and manage the end-to-end logistics for Attractions.io’s event calendar, including researching and sourcing venues, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating budgets and contracts with support from the Marketing Manager, and ensuring quality service.
  • Work with the marketing and customer success teams to investigate new opportunities.
  • Travel to and supervise the on-the-day running of events as needed
  • Build and distribute regular event communications, including pre-event status reports and post-event trip performance reports.
  • Work with the marketing manager to lock down event speakers and secure sponsorship packages at in-person and virtual events during the year.
  • Measuring and reporting on event success using metrics such as attendance, lead generation and ROI.
  • Work closely with the content marketing specialist to create pre and post-event campaigns that maximise the impact of our conversations.
  • Keep event landing pages up-to-date

Requirements

  • You have experience supporting an international events program for B2B businesses.
  • You are a self-starter, proactive and highly organised, used to project managing all aspects of in-person and virtual events, from strategy to execution.
  • You can monitor, track and measure performance against KPIs to demonstrate the events’ impact, ensuring a strong return on investment, and adapting as required to ensure future success.
  • You’ll be an excellent communicator, brilliant at building relationships both internally and externally.

Benefits

We believe that working in a way that supports a fulfilled life and gives you control over your work preferences maximises the chances of success and happiness for our whole team. In this role, you will benefit from:

  • A salary of £30k – £36k, depending on experience
  • Participation in our share options scheme
  • Fully remote working
  • Annual remote work allowance
  • Flexible hours
  • 33 days paid holiday
