Job Description

Shape the Future of Tech at ASOS

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in building the senior teams that power one of the world’s most innovative online fashion retailers? We’re hiring a Senior Recruiter to help shape the future of Engineering and Product at ASOS.

You’ll join a high‑performing, close‑knit Talent Acquisition team that thrives on pace, quality, and true partnership. As a senior member of the team, you’ll set the bar for delivery, balancing speed with judgement, and consistently hiring exceptional, diverse talent into some of our most critical roles.

This is a role for someone who manages complexity with confidence, and takes pride in executing at a gold‑standard hiring level.

Why This Role?

Lead with Impact: You’ll lead high‑priority, senior Engineering and Product hires end‑to‑end, from intake and search strategy through to offer-partnering closely with leaders on role design, assessment approach and decision‑making. Your work will directly shape the teams that deliver ASOS’s technology roadmap, so you’ll see a clear line between hiring outcomes and business impact.

Set the Standard: Quality and pace aren’t trade‑offs here-we aim for both through clear process, inclusive practice and smart prioritisation. You’ll model what great looks like: structured assessments, consistent candidate communication, and stakeholder partnership that helps teams make timely, evidence‑based decisions, even across multiple roles and competing priorities.

Influence and Improve: Our hiring approach is strong, and we’re committed to continuously improving it. You’ll use data, market insight and candidate feedback to refine how we brief roles, assess skills and close candidates - helping us widen access to opportunity and strengthen the experience for hiring managers and applicants. You’ll also influence stakeholders on best practice and help embed inclusive, repeatable ways of working across the function.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end‑to‑end recruitment strategy and delivery for senior Engineering and Product roles, ensuring a consistently outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Deliver world‑class hires at pace, demonstrating strong judgement, prioritisation, and calm execution - even when managing competing demands.
  • Partner closely with senior hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on market insight, role design, inclusive hiring practices, and assessment quality.
  • Lead complex searches, proactively sourcing and engaging senior‑level talent using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, hackajob, and SmartRecruiters.
  • Apply structured assessment and inclusive interview practices to ensure fair, high‑quality hiring decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and ways of working - from how we brief roles to how we close candidates.
  • Use recruitment technology and AI‑enabled tools confidently to improve speed, quality, and candidate engagement.
  • Bring strong project management skills to hiring activity, planning effectively, anticipating risks, and keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Step in to support wider team priorities as needed, modelling leadership through action and delivery.
  • Act as an ambassador for ASOS, representing our brand with credibility, inclusivity, and professionalism.
