About the Role

As an IT Asset Management Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our technology estate. You’ll be part of a team responsible for the end-to-end management of hardware and software assets across the organisation, ensuring assets are tracked, optimized, and aligned with internal standards and processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of asset governance, cost control, and service delivery within a forward-thinking technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day asset management tasks including request processing, inventory tracking, and responding to internal inquiries.
  • Act as a central point of contact for queries related to software, hardware, and digital assets.
  • Support improvements to IT service management tools and maintain a clean and accurate asset portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain standards, templates, and processes for asset tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and optimize costs related to tech assets through effective supplier coordination and contract awareness.
  • Deliver regular reporting and insights on asset usage, compliance, and lifecycle processes.
  • Conduct periodic audits and escalate unresolved cases of non-compliance.
  • Support financial tracking, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and reconciling against budgets.
  • Manage mobile device inventory, including leaver processes and device recovery.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Solid experience in IT asset management, including both hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with core lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and asset reallocation.
  • Understanding of IT service management principles and standard frameworks.
  • Experience with ITSM and software asset management tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain processes to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
