Job Description

The Director of Fashion Tech will lead the strategic and technical direction of our Fashion Tech capability—spanning the digital tools and platforms that power the design, sourcing, development, and merchandising of fashion products. This role is pivotal in transforming how we create, label, and deliver fashion, from concept to customer, using data, automation, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the end-to-end Fashion Tech strategy, aligning with business goals across design, sourcing, merchandising, and sustainability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to build and scale platforms that support fabric sourcing, sample conditioning, product attribution, and supplier collaboration.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver forecasting and pricing tools that optimise decision-making from source to site.
  • Champion innovation in digital product creation, including 3D design, digital sampling, and AI-assisted labelling.
  • Establish success metrics and governance for Fashion Tech delivery, ensuring measurable impact on speed, accuracy, and cost.
  • Act as a change agent—driving cultural and operational transformation across legacy processes and systems.

Qualifications

About You

We’re looking for a visionary leader with a strong track record in fashion, retail, or consumer tech. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation in fashion or retail tech environments.
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle systems (e.g. PLM, ERP, Oracle) and how they integrate with design and merchandising workflows.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
  • Experience working with designers, buyers, and sourcing teams to build tools that enhance creativity and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in forecasting, pricing, and product attribution.
  • A collaborative leadership style that inspires cross-functional teams and builds trust across disciplines.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels—setting vision while rolling up sleeves when needed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with C-level executives.
  • A growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
