THE ROLE
Job Description
As a Digital Trading Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management, site trading and optimisation for the ASOS website(s) across devices. This will include site merchandising, navigation updates and search configuration.
Reporting into the Digital Trading Specialist, you will support trade and help to optimise the customer journeys with a focus on balancing commercial & brand priorities, ensuring to maximise the onsite Customer experience and drive conversion for your focused market and categories.
- Category specialists, supporting to elevate the product assortment priorities across the customer journey, ensuring to create a seamless experience all the global markets
- Ensuring website standards are maintained to maximise business performance and customer journey
- Subject matter expert and specialise within your pillar and become the expert, while educating the wider ecommerce business on your focused area.
- Supporting the team to produce and analyse detailed sales, site, and channel reports by market to optimise the customer journey, and ensure relevant product positioning and categorisation
- Supporting the Digital Trading Specialist with managing and optimising the category and navigation structure across channels/devices
- Supporting with managing onsite search, ensuring optimal configuration across markets and enhancing the search experience
- Working with the Digital Trading Specialists to ensure the smooth execution of selling strategies across key events and campaigns
- Working closely with relevant teams to support and execute trade events and other initiatives
- Supporting with campaign launches, rollout of new features and digital products
- Supporting with homepage and promo processes and wider stakeholder management
Qualifications
We'd love to meet someone with...
- Organizational and coordination skills
- Experience of using online merchandising systems, is preferable but not required.
- Competent using systems and comfortable working in a technology-based environment
- Commercially aware, customer obsessed with the ability to use initiative and intuition
- Excellent communicator with good motivational & leadership skills
- Keen eye for detail with the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues
- A Self-motivated and proactive approach
- Flexible, agile, and open to change
- Positive attitude, self-aware and self-motivated
- Analytical skills
- A keen interest in AI and how this can be integrated
