Since officially starting operations in 2019, we have been developing a diverse team of experienced professionals and young talents, creating opportunities to grow and succeed in a truly global environment.
This position is offered as a CDD contract with the possibility of conversion to a CDI based on performance, making it an excellent opportunity for 2026 fresh graduates looking to launch their careers.

Purpose

The Operation Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the static planning of vessel operations and cargo flow within the terminal. The role ensures accurate cargo control, effective communication with stakeholders, and the smooth execution of operational plans.
This role provides a strong professional entry point for fresh graduates seeking hands‑on operational experience and long‑term career development within APM Terminals.
By driving efficiency and supporting continuous improvement, the Operation Planner contributes to safe, reliable, and high-performing terminal operations.

We offer

At APM Terminals, we create an environment where learning and development are built into everyday work. Guided by LEAN principles, we empower our people to improve processes, grow their skills, and advance their careers.
As this role begins under a CDD contract with the potential to convert to CDI, high-performing fresh graduates will have the opportunity to secure a long-term position and grow within our global organization.
Join us to be part of a collaborative and innovative workplace where your contributions shape the future of global trade.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate static vessel operations and cargo handling activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Monitor cargo movements, inventory levels, and documentation to prevent congestion and maintain smooth cargo flow.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (operations, engineering, customer service) to coordinate activities and address operational challenges.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including shipping lines, port authorities, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth cargo operations.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance.

  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement practices and adherence to operational standards.

  • Work flexibly, including shifts and weekends, as needed to support terminal operations.

  • Previous experience in terminal operations, logistics, or the maritime industry is preferred but not mandatory for strong fresh graduate profiles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
