Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on port equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults on Ship-to-Shore Cranes, RTGs, Reach Stackers, and Straddle Carriers.
  • Program, maintain, and modify PLC systems, primarily Siemens.
  • Operate and maintain SCADA systems including Siemens and GE platforms.
  • Maintain and parameterize Siemens variable frequency drives.
  • Interpret and modify electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Carry out field maintenance activities while ensuring safe operations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset, curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
  • Higher Vocational Education (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanics.
  • Experience with industrial electrical and electronic systems, including sensors and encoders.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors and electrical components associated with diesel engines.
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming; knowledge of Omron, Mitsubishi, or GE systems is a plus.
  • Experience with SCADA platforms such as Siemens WinCC, Simocrane, Simotion, and/or GE Proficy.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical failures in field maintenance environments.
  • Technical English skills for reading and understanding manuals and documentation.
  • Own vehicle (car or motorcycle) is required.
