Our success is driven by a strong commitment to LEAN methodologies, embedding continuous improvement into every aspect of our operations. Join us and be part of a team that values excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist manages and coordinates the company's import and logistics operations end to end, ensuring compliance with customs legislation, regulatory requirements, and corporate policy. What we can offer:

  • A dynamic learning and training culture built around continuous improvement

  • Exposure to international trade, customs compliance, and supply chain best practices

  • A collaborative, people-first environment where growth is a priority

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate international shipments by sea, air, and land, tracking critical dates to protect delivery timelines

  • Keep IFS updated with accurate logistics data covering purchase orders, shipments, receipts, and ETAs

  • Monitor and reconcile logistics costs, invoices, and vendor payments alongside Finance and Procurement

  • Identify supply chain risks early and coordinate corrective action to protect the availability of critical materials

APM Terminals is committed to innovation, work-life balance, and ongoing professional development, giving every team member the tools and support to grow.

What we're looking for:

  • A bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in international logistics, imports, and foreign trade, ideally within a multinational company

  • Practical knowledge of foreign trade, customs legislation, and Incoterms

  • Intermediate-to-advanced English and intermediate-to-advanced Excel

  • Experience working with ERP systems to track purchase orders, shipments, and receipts

  • Certifications such as APICS/ASCM (CSCP or CLTD), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or Incoterms training are a plus

  • Lean-minded: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement -- someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day.
