Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist

The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist manages and coordinates the company's import and logistics operations end to end, ensuring compliance with customs legislation, regulatory requirements, and corporate policy. Working closely with suppliers, customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, government authorities, and internal customers, she or he keeps shipments moving, minimizes operational risk, controls logistics costs, and gives the business real-time visibility into purchase orders and shipment status.

Key responsibilities:
Coordinate international shipments by sea, air, and land, tracking critical dates to protect delivery timelines
Review and validate import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs entries
Partner with customs brokers and authorities to ensure compliance with national and international customs regulations
Keep IFS updated with accurate logistics data covering purchase orders, shipments, receipts, and ETAs
Monitor and reconcile logistics costs, invoices, and vendor payments alongside Finance and Procurement
Identify supply chain risks early and coordinate corrective action to protect the availability of critical materials

What we're looking for:
A bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in international logistics, imports, and foreign trade, ideally within a multinational company
Practical knowledge of foreign trade, customs legislation, and Incoterms
Intermediate-to-advanced English and intermediate-to-advanced Excel
Experience working with ERP systems to track purchase orders, shipments, and receipts
Certifications such as APICS/ASCM (CSCP or CLTD), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or Incoterms training are a plus
