APM Terminals has the temporary operation of Port of Balboa, one the largest terminals in Americas with container, dry bulk and Roro operations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the LEAN skills development program within the organization by overseeing the annual LEAN training and skills practice plan, in accordance with corporate guidelines, to ensure high-quality results.
- Facilitate and/or participate in cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects through the application of LEAN tools, focused on process efficiency and demonstrating sustainable results across the four pillars of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Plan and manage the department's budget based on the identified needs of the LEAN and TWI skills development strategies and the communication plan, among others.
We expect you to have:
- Leadership positions in the areas of process management, operations management, training, continuous improvement, consulting, and related fields in port, industrial, or similar environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Management of port terminals or similar facilities.
- Process modeling.
- Business management or similar fields.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PowerBi
- Continuous improvement and process-driven mindset, Lean is a differential
- Excellent English and Spanish written and verbal communication.
