• Develop expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, stock control, and ERP-based inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to support effective stock management and informed decision-making.
• Review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) activities and monitor inventory demand requirements.
• Process and monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Track purchased inventory versus issued inventory and provide regular reporting on inventory performance.
• Monitor open purchase orders and conduct high-value inventory reviews to support replenishment planning.
• Lead inventory clean-up and cost-saving initiatives to optimize stock holdings and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate cycle counts, perpetual counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain stock accuracy.
• Conduct goods receipt verification and inspection activities in collaboration with end users.
• Prepare inventory reports and monitor planned material status against operational forecasts.

What We Are Looking For

• Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset—curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
• Minimum of an HND or BSc degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in inventory control, inventory management, warehousing, or related supply chain functions.
• Good understanding of inventory management principles, stock control processes, and inventory optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and computer applications used for inventory planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret inventory and operational data.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong reporting and attention-to-detail capabilities with a focus on inventory accuracy and operational excellence.
• Professional proficiency in English.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining optimal stock availability, supporting procurement and replenishment activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational reliability, cost efficiency, and business performance at APM Terminals. Based on the role requirements, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, support forecasting activities, reduce stock risks, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation.
