Job Description

APM Terminals

As part of our Growth Strategy at APM Terminals, we are investing in greenfield projects to expand our existing footprint and working with our existing brownfield sites to ensure best-in-class terminals across the globe. Our ability to design and build a terminal, establish an operational organization and secure commercial business is pivotal to achieving these ambitions.

The role owns the assurance framework used to monitor and evidence the application of existing BIM standards, controls, and processes. Separately, the role owns BIM reporting and analytics, including reporting standards, data requirements, performance insights, and decision-support information for senior leaders and stakeholders.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Lead BIM portfolio-level and functional-level reporting, ensuring outputs are timely, accurate, relevant, and decision-oriented.

  • Define and maintain reporting standards, data requirements, validation routines, and quality controls to support consistent and trusted outputs.

  • Translate complex data into clear insights on performance, risks, trends, and required actions for senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline reporting workflows, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and strengthen analytical capabilities.

Resource Management:

  • Oversee BIM resource forecasting and utilisation reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent, and decision-oriented.

  • Provide clear insights on resource demand, capacity, and emerging gaps to support portfolio planning and leadership decisions.

Project Systems (Software):

  • Work with Technology teams to define and implement system strategy for standardised project portfolio management.

  • Ensure alignment between system capabilities, reporting requirements, and analytics needs.
