  • Verifying intrinsically safe circuit system calculations and asset certification
  • Conducting follow-up inspections on assets replaced by lower-competence personnel
  • Creating defect lists to inform contractor quotations and monthly reporting

In your senior capacity, you’ll also support quality assurance, team development, and stakeholder engagement:

  • Advising managers and site owners across the business on DSEAR best practice
  • Conducting audits of DSEAR appointed persons and contractors
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and deputising for the DSEAR Project Manager as required

You’ll also contribute to the production and maintenance of:

  • Asset-specific risk assessments and site-wide hazard classifications
  • Infrastructure risk analyses in line with IGEM/SR/25, Zone2NE, and internal codes of practice
  • Health and safety documentation and DSEAR policy development
  • Positive safety culture through near-miss reporting, behavioural safety promotion, and continuous improvement
